T- Shirt Design link- Click Here

The word disciplined was taken off the design to make it more balanced.  The letters will be white on a black shirt.  Students are welcome to use this design on a shirt of their own if they would like to have their shirt printed somewhere else.  Through school, the shirt will cost $6.50.

Target's program that gives money to schools all over the country ends today, so now is your last chance to vote for Lewis & Clark Middle School. Our school needs just 25 votes to earn a $25 donation from Target. But that's only the beginning: For each additional vote, our school will get $1 more. Every little bit makes a big difference. So please visit GiveWith.Target.com as soon as you can to vote for our school. And please forward this email to your friends.
Thanks,

Dress Code Reminder

We have had several young ladies wearing tank shirts with bra straps showing.  This is against the student dress code.  If your student has bra straps showing, they will be asked to put on a shirt or jacket.

A Day for Dogs...and Kids!

On Wednesday, May 8, students at Lewis and Clark were treated with four-legged friends accompanied by their owners, trainers, groomers, and vets.  It was the annual Team Impact Dog Days of Reading.  Students have been reading lit sets about a variety of dog breeds.  Now, they had the opportunity to visit with them face to face.

Wait a minute...that dog's Mohawk matches one of our student's hair!
Our groomers from Shed, Bath, and Beyond.

Deputy Todd Marsey and his K-9 Unit dog, Brava.  The only day we bring drugs to school...
to demonstrate this dog's outstanding ability to smell, search, and find.
Beth T., a grandmother of one of our students, and her dog Cocoa.
This amazing service dog can detect low blood sugar.

Dr. Brady from West Side Vet Clinic
examines the teeth and listens to the heart of Mrs. Distler's dog, Riley.
